Who is eligible to play in this league?
This league is open to all incoming 2012 high school players (2013-2016 graduates).
How do I register, and when do I need to register by?
The registration deadline is August 1st, however, we do take late registrations through August 12th...
To register, scroll over the Registration link above, and click on your league of choice. Fill out the online registration form and send. Players registered by August 1st are guaranteed to receive a pro ash wood bat from Hoosier Bat Co., team shirt, and Showcase U college profile at the meeting. Late registration may result in not receiving a bat, shirt, or profile on time for the start of the league.
Can I be on the same team as my friends or high school teammates?
Yes, players have the opportunity to write down other players they would like to be on the same team with under the "Teammate Request" section of the registration page. When you register, we attempt to honor your teammate requests, however, with the IHSAA rule of 5, we must have no more than 5 players from the same school on a team. Therefore, our organization will set teams in accordance with IHSAA rules and help from area coaches and site directors.
How will I know what team I am on?
Team rosters are posted online the week before the league begins on this website. You will also receive a roster in your "Player Packet" that is handed out at the mandatory meeting that takes place before the league begins. Please scroll over the Schedules/Standings link above, and click on your league to view the schedule for date and time of your mandatory league meeting. This meeting will most likely take place on the Saturday before the league begins.
What is the game schedule and what days do we play on?
For your league's full schedule, scroll over the Schedules/Standings link above, and click on your league. All 'regular season' and 'college game day' games are played on Sundays, Aug 19th - Sept. 23rd.
Why do we have to attend the "Mandatory" league meeting before the league begins?
The mandatory league meeting, which will most likely be held the Saturday before the league begins, will bring all the players and parents together to be addressed by the site director to go over the league schedule, rules, and expectations. This meeting is where all players will receive their Professional Ash Bat from Hooser Bat Co., Team Dri-Fit Shirt, and "Player Packet", which will include the player's schedule, a copy of the league rules, Showcase U college profile instructions, and more.
Attendance at each game during the season is mandatory, what if I cannot make it one week due to illness, an emergency, or major committment?
If you cannot attend a week due to an emergency or major committment, please contact us and let us know. Our organization must be contacted the week prior to your absence. Otherwise, we expect that you will be in attendance each week. If we are not contacted, we will consider you absent and ineligible for selection to the All-Star team and participation in the College Week. All absences should be submitted via email to TrainDK@sbcglobal.net. Write ABSENT in the subject line. In your email, include the player's name, league, team, date of absence, and reason for being absent.
